Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Precision CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC horizontal machining centers and boring mills. You will interpret drawings with GD&T, write or edit programs using Mazatrol, Celos, or G/M codes, and ensure tool alignment and fixture security.

Expect to measure parts, verify tolerances, monitor tool wear, and document performance data. You’ll transfer programs across networks, adjust offsets, and maintain safe, efficient production through meticulous

Qualifications

Experience reading drawings with GD&T and applying tolerances.
Ability to create and edit CNC programs from drawings using Mazatrol, Celos, and G/M codes.
Mechanical knowledge of machines, tooling, and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Create, edit, and optimize programs from drawings with GD&T interpretation; experience with Mazatrol 640M, Mazatrol Smooth, Tosnuc, or Celos is preferred.
Install, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces using precision measuring tools.
Measure finished parts with gauges and fixtures to verify conformance and adjust as needed.
Start machines, monitor operations, record performance data, and ensure proper cooling and lubrication.
Transfer programs from servers to CNC controls via networks and adjust offsets as required.
Inspect parts for defects and sort nonconforming pieces; identify tool wear or vibration and replace accordingly.
