Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Precision CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC horizontal machining centers and boring mills. You will interpret drawings with GD&T, write or edit programs using Mazatrol, Celos, or G/M codes, and ensure tool alignment and fixture security.

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings with GD&T and applying tolerances.
• Ability to create and edit CNC programs from drawings using Mazatrol, Celos, and G/M codes.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines, tooling, and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize programs from drawings with GD&T interpretation; experience with Mazatrol 640M, Mazatrol Smooth, Tosnuc, or Celos is preferred.
• Install, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces using precision measuring tools.
• Measure finished parts with gauges and fixtures to verify conformance and adjust as needed.
• Start machines, monitor operations, record performance data, and ensure proper cooling and lubrication.
• Transfer programs from servers to CNC controls via networks and adjust offsets as required.
• Inspect parts for defects and sort nonconforming pieces; identify tool wear or vibration and replace accordingly.
