Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layout, job order and related technical data for product specifications and tooling Instructions.
• Computes machine indexing ratios and cam dimensions for gear teeth spacing and contour.
• Selects index plate, cams, grinding wheel, feed rates and depth of cut; sets up and aligns equipment.
• Positions and secures workpiece and wheel, verifies positions with gauges and micrometers.
• Adheres to safety procedures and quality policies including AS9100 / ISO14001.
