Job summary
Phillips Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Technician for a Liberty, SC manufacturing client. You will operate CMMs and precision measurement tools, interpret complex drawings, and ensure measurement accuracy across Quality and Manufacturing teams.
The ideal candidate has GD&T training, CMM programming experience (MCOSMOS), and proficiency with CAD and inspection documentation. This role requires diligence in a fast-paced environment and strong communication to report results and support
Qualifications
- Experience with GD&T and precise measurement practices required.
- Automotive quality/metrology lab or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
- CMM fixturing and programming experience desired.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Operate CMM and precision measurement equipment daily.
- Monitor accuracy and performance of inspection equipment.
- Perform routine inspection maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Develop and modify CMM programs for parts and assemblies.
- Review drawings to establish inspection criteria and record results.
- Complete First Article Inspection documentation and bubble prints.
