Tube Specialties, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Technician/CMM Programmer-Operator to run dimensional inspection on aerospace-grade components.

You will program CMM routines, inspect parts to tight tolerances, and verify conformance on tubes, tooling, fixtures, and machined components. The role includes calibration and tool crib responsibilities with gages and measuring equipment, ensuring certification and organized inventories while supporting audits and AS9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metrology principles and calibration practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Willingness to learn Hexagon CMM/PC-DMIS Quindos if not already experienced.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, certify, and verify gages and measuring tools.
• Program and operate Hexagon CMM using PC-DMIS Quindos.
• Inspect tubes, fixtures, gears, and machined components for dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain calibration records and traceability to NIST standards.
• Manage tool crib inventory and equipment.
