Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with related experience or training in CMM operations.
• Experience operating PC-DMIS and interpreting GD&T per ANSI/ISO standards.
• Able to perform capability studies and gage R&R analyses.
• Knowledge of MIOSHA safety standards and PPE usage is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints and GD&T into accurate PC-DMIS CMM programs.
• Execute part layouts using direct-drive CMM and perform precision bench layouts.
• Operate multiple machines to meet throughput needs.
• Run capability studies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Certify check fixtures and record data within the MQ1 system.
• Perform gage certifications and manage gage R&R.
• Enter and maintain gages in the gage system; monitor calibrations.
• Adhere to MIOSHA safety procedures and use PPE.
• Compare measurements to tolerances and elevate discrepancies.
• Assist with PPAP submissions and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement across the quality function.
• Maintain clean workspace and reliable attendance.
• Be prepared for overtime and flexible shifts.
