Job summary

Axius Group, LLC is seeking a CMM Operator (Quality Technician) to verify conformance of manufactured parts using CMM and precision tools. You will interpret complex drawings and models, generate inspection reports, and support RCCA investigations while communicating with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

You will perform first article and ongoing inspections, maintain quality documentation, and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Interpret 2D drawings and 3D models to determine conformance.
• Accurate reading of specifications and tolerances.
• Clear communication with internal teams and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM and inspection equipment to verify part conformance.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections and document findings.
• Generate inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Support RCCA investigations and feedback design or process issues to Engineering.
• Assist internal audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Maintain certifications or qualifications for inspection areas.
