Job summary

A growing manufacturing company in Newburyport is seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to ensure precision manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in quality inspections and a strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection. Proficiency with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software is preferred. This position offers a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and operates on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality/CMM Inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect complex precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to develop and execute inspection plans.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
