Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Quality Inspector in Dayton, OH to support the Quality Assurance System with precision layout inspections, gage calibration, and data analysis to ensure conformance to drawings and customer specs.

You will read drawings, perform first article layouts, maintain calibration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in a production environment. This role offers growth and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 2+ years in related field required.
• Experience with mechanical inspection and data interpretation.
• CMM programming and SPC experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CCT/CQI/CMI/metrological desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Perform layout inspections on products, fixtures, or dies including first article layouts and capability studies.
• Maintain gage and fixture control and calibration.
• Observe parts under microscope and adjust measurements to specifications.
• Compare readings with charts and drawings and compute deviations.
