Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Finishing Operator to support finishing operations that follow machining and polishing in the manufacturing flow. The role requires reading blueprints and using precision measuring devices to verify products, with records kept for inspections and maintenance.

The position supports a lean manufacturing cell, may involve lifting 20–50 lbs, and requires a High School diploma or GED and Cell Process Certification. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to use precision measuring devices.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Dependent on the specific department assignment, may be expected to lift between 20 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for various finishing operations that follow the machining and polishing operations in the manufacturing process.
• Read and interrupt blueprints.
• Measure the products using precision measuring instruments to identify/verify products.
• Record inspection records, prepare and revise setup sheets, record preventative maintenance, training and other record keeping as required in the cell.
