Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in the United States is seeking a finishing operator to support our manufacturing process by performing finishing tasks after machining and polishing. You will work in a cell, handle materials, clean, de-burr, and assist with process-related activities while following blueprints and quality procedures.

You must read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring devices to verify parts, and keep accurate inspection and setup records.

Qualifications

What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for various finishing operations that follow the machining and polishing operations in the manufacturing process.

How You'll Create Impact

• May be required to do some or all of these tasks in a cell: Material handling, sorting, cleaning, de-burring, straightening, blasting, stress relief, NDT preparation, vibratory/tumbling, immersion cleaning, electro polishing, etching, and cutoff saw operation.


• Read and interrupt blueprints.


• Measure the products using precision measuring instruments to identify/verify products.


• Record inspection records, prepare and revise setup sheets, record preventative maintenance, training and other record keeping as required in the cell.
