Job summary

VEGA Americas in Mason, OH, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform in-house calibration on precision tools, maintain calibration records, and support the Quality Department with administrative tasks.

You will coordinate external calibration services, manage order-specific certificates, and assist with internal audits and first article inspections while ensuring ISO standards and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years calibration experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality systems is a plus.
• Ability to maintain accurate calibration records and certificates.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house calibration of torque drivers, wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Coordinate and assist external calibration services for equipment that cannot be calibrated internally.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and certificates.
• Manage order-specific certificates required by customers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist with internal quality audits and support first article inspections and other QA activities.
• Support the Quality Department with document control and administrative tasks.
• Communicate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality documentation or calibration issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Perform other administrative tasks including audits and inspections.
