Job summary

Fox Valley Metrology is seeking mechanically inclined Calibration Technicians to calibrate, inspect, troubleshoot, and verify a range of precision instruments. You will follow ISO/IEC 17025 standards and document results, with on-site support to clients as needed.

Experience in manufacturing or calibration is preferred; strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings are essential. Growth opportunities exist across our nationwide team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, maintenance, or calibration preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and calibration procedures.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, inspect, troubleshoot, and verify precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Perform calibration on mechanical, electronic, dimensional, and hand measurement instruments.
• Test, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Follow ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards and established calibration procedures.
• Document calibration results and maintain service records.
• Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop and improve calibration procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with technicians to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Provide on-site calibration support to customer facilities with possible overnight travel.
