Job summary

KBR Metrology is seeking a Metrology Technician II for the Tempe swing shift to provide day-to-day support for the Metrology Program. You will calibrate IMTE and guide workflows with other technicians, coordinating in-house and vendor calibrations.

This role is specifically for the 2pm to 10pm swing shift. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of metrology experience or an associate degree with relevant field experience, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work swing hours.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with 3+ years in metrology or an associate degree with 3 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency, signal conditioning, blueprints/drawings, tooling and hand tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• US citizenship is required for this role.
• Ability to work swing shift 2pm–10pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment with NIST traceability.
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as multimeters, frequency counters, timers, oscilloscopes, and pressure devices.
• Maintain calibration standards and record maintenance activities; generate reports and documentation.
• Coordinate calibrations in-house and with external vendors as required.
• Apply advanced skills in the metrology field and perform other duties as assigned.
