Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Metrology Technician II in Tempe for day shift, focused on calibrating IMTE and coordinating internal and external calibrations. You will leverage standard lab equipment to maintain calibration records and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma with several years of calibration experience or an associate degree with relevant work; proficiency in Excel is expected and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years of calibration experience.
• Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, and other electrical parameters.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to NIST.
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counters, timers, oscilloscopes, pressure devices.
• Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate reports on results of tests, conditions of equipment and/or systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed.
• Coordinate calibrations in house and out to vendors.
• Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment.
