Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Technician for cable and harness assembly. This role involves interfacing with engineering, Stockroom, and Manufacturing Specialists, and completing training in crimp harnesses, hand soldering, inspection, potting, testing, and labeling. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or some higher education required.
• Ability to see a project through from start to finish.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn automated machine operation.
• Ability to identify and work through problems that may arise.
• Skilled at hand soldering and reworking cable assemblies.
• Ability to pass IPC and NASA training to space level quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Comfortable with teamwork and communication within the team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or valid U.S. person.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and provide feedback to engineering.
• Interface with Stockroom and Manufacturing Specialists.
• Complete workmanship training in crimp cable harnesses and related tasks.
• Perform hand soldering, visual inspection, potting of connectors, and cable testing/ labeling.
