Qualifications

• Experience reading basic drawings or blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, prints, and work orders.
• Identify required materials and components.
• Drill and punch holes.
• Deburr and smooth sharp edges.
• Grind and clean metal as needed.
• Assemble basic cabinet panels and sections.
• Install brackets, supports, stiffeners, and reinforcements.
• Install hinges, latches, handles, and other hardware.
• Install insulation or insulation supports as required.
• Seal seams and joints.
• Apply caulking or other sealants.
• Label and organize components for assembly.
• Prepare completed cabinet sections for the next department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Report material shortages, damaged parts, or drawing issues to the appropriate person.
• Follow work instructions and quality requirements.
