Job summary

AppleOne is seeking an experienced Brake Press Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet precise specifications in a teamwork-focused shop environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of press brake or related manufacturing experience, high school diploma or GED, and can read production drawings. Willingness to work early/late shifts, overtime, weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and follow production drawings accurately.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tape.
• Set up and operate press brake machinery to form metal parts.
• Identify and report issues affecting quality or safety.
• 3–5 years of press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery as per work orders and drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers and production instructions.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Troubleshoot machine, material, or quality issues during production.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety standards.
