Job summary

Americase is seeking a Skilled Brake Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Waxahachie, Texas. You will manage brake press setup, follow job specifications from setup to finish, and perform QC on parts to ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires 1–3 years of brake press experience and a background in metal fabrication. Amada America machinery experience is preferred; additional skills in laser punch, waterjet, CNC routing, or welding are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of brake press experience.
• Background in metal fabrication/manufacturing.
• Amada America machinery experience preferred.
• Laser punch, waterjet, CNC router, and/or welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine Set-Up: handle brake press setup for each job.
• Follow specifications: read travelers and job specs and interpret details.
• Troubleshooting: identify and resolve production issues.
• Quality Control: perform initial QC on finished parts to ensure standards.
• Independent Work: work under guidance but self-guide tasks as needed.
