Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Parflex Division seeks a Yarn Braider & Winder Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6am). You’ll set up and run yarn braiding machines, transfer yarn, and maintain bobbin quality while supporting continuous improvement.

Expect overtime after training and a manufacturing environment with safety requirements. Required HS diploma or GED; machine operation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate yarn braiding machines and transfer yarn.
• Transfer full bobbins to braider decks and manage splices.
• Monitor bobbin footage, yarn condition and tension.
• Change tooling and gears for correct dimensions.
• Check payoffs, adhesive, braid pattern, ink, and take-ups.
• Perform quality checks and record data.
• Package product and prepare cartons/spools.
• Support continuous improvement and document results.
• Participate in area/process team activities.
• Report irregularities to Shift Supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
