Job summary

Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Bonding Inspector A on the First Shift to inspect bonded parts and assemblies. You will work from blueprints and specifications using precision instruments to verify bonding quality.

This role requires hands-on inspection across bonding stages, maintaining records, and assisting others. It is ITAR aware, and a U.S. person may be required to access export-restricted information.

Qualifications

• Three years inspection in bonding, fabrication, welding or finishing.
• Two years inspection experience plus one year experience Bonding.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production or first run parts and assemblies bonded with various materials.
• Inspect bonded parts or parts to be bonded prior to, during and after bonding process.
• Operate measuring instruments, gauges, jigs, fixtures, templates to verify adherence to specs.
• Perform difficult inspection layouts and setups to check work to standards.
• Maintain records and charts on bonding procedures, tests and data.
• Assist other inspectors in bonding inspection methods and procedures.
