Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing processes or materials.
• Experience with media blasting, cleaning, and coating is desired.
• Kaizen or Lean training is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform media blasting operations to clean and prepare parts.
• Set up and adjust blasting equipment including pressure, media flow, and cycle time.
• Inspect blasted components for surface quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain blast cabinets and equipment for consistent performance.
• Follow SOPs, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Document process steps and SPC data; participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
