Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in mechanical, manufacturing, or related fields preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in belt fabrication or similar roles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using belt fabrication tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of materials such as rubber, plastic, and steel used in belt manufacturing.
• Welding, splicing, and other belt assembly skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble conveyor belts according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
• Operate belt fabrication machinery such as presses, belt cutters, and welding tools.
• Cut, splice, and join belt materials using welding, stitching, or adhesive bonding.
• Ensure belt assemblies meet design specifications and pass quality tests.
• Inspect and test fabricated belts for quality and performance standards.
• Document and maintain records of inspection and testing results for quality control purposes.
• Perform regular maintenance on fabrication machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with other fabricators, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet production goals.
• Custom Fabrication: Manufacture and modify belts per client requirements.
