Job summary

SKF Group is hiring for an inspection and assembly role in Sumter, SC. You will read engineering drawings, inspect components with precision tools, and ensure products meet specifications before packaging and shipment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; great attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and specifications and understand related notes.
• Perform inspection checks using micrometers, air columns, surface contour measurement, and CMM.
• Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on tolerances.
• Document data on required forms and records for traceability.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety rules.
