Aerotek is seeking a Sandblaster/Bead Blaster Technician in Madison, GA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on high-precision surface preparation of brass and metal components using sandblasting and bead blasting equipment.

You will apply masking, select media, and calibrate equipment to achieve consistent finishes while coordinating with finishing and assembly teams. Safety and quality standards are emphasized throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with sandblasting/bead blasting
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards
• Ability to select blasting media and set pressures
• Experience in masking tight-tolerance geometries
• Ability to inspect parts before and after blasting

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting and bead blasting machinery to remove imperfections from brass and metal components.
• Perform high-precision surface prep on blades, rotors, and casings.
• Calibrate blasting media and pressure based on material and geometry.
• Apply masking to protect critical surfaces during blasting.
• Inspect workpieces before and after blasting for defects and surface quality.
• Coordinate with finishing, polishing, and assembly teams to ensure on-time delivery.
