Job summary

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking an Assembler for manufacturing electronics and instruments. You will assemble products from individual components and conduct final testing on aviation instruments for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training or work experience.
• Minimum one year of assembly experience with avionic equipment (pressure gauges, batteries, inverters).
• Adept at using hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Understanding of advanced analog and digital electronics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized, focused and results oriented.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembler will build from individual components to a finished product.
• Perform final testing on a variety of aircraft instruments and avionics.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, procedures and manuals.
• Complete documentation such as shop and manufacturing order records and reports.
