Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform required repairs including engine, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Assess vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Verify serviceability and ensure quality repairs on the first attempt via test drives.
• Maintain customer vehicles and shop cleanliness during repair.
• Contain costs by using warranty options and evaluating repair parts.
• Communicate with Service Advisor/Dispatcher for additional work.
• Assist in writing work orders and interacting with customers as needed.
• Keep stock and tools organized; maintain an orderly workspace.
• Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Attend pertinent training and company meetings as required.
