Classic Recreations, part of Velocity’s brand portfolio, seeks an experienced Painter to prepare, seal, and paint Shelby continuation vehicles in a high-precision shop.

You will mix colors, apply base and clear coats with professional spray guns, ensure perfect matches, and perform quality checks to uphold top finish standards.

Work is in a production environment with safety protocols and PPE guidance, offering steady hours and a hands-on, team-driven atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior automotive painting experience, including candy finishes.
• Knowledge of paint mixing systems and advanced spraying techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for paint with cleaning, sanding, masking, and sealing.
• Mix and match colors per build sheet to ensure consistency.
• Apply base coat/clear coat using professional spray equipment.
• Perform quality checks on painted surfaces and rectify defects.
• Collaborate with bodywork and QC teams to meet pre-paint standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe paint booth and comply with PPE regulations.
