Zusammenfassung

Penske Truck Leasing Co. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician in Indianapolis, IN to diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure vehicle safety per dealership and manufacturer standards. You will inspect, test, and repair engines and electrical/mechanical systems, communicate with service staff, and keep the workspace organized and efficient.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus related experience; an AA is preferred. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifikationen

Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen to customers and determine how to assist them.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Ability to use technical reference materials and manuals in written and online formats.

Aufgaben

Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required repairs.
Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs including engine, mechanical and electrical systems.
Examines vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required.
Verifies vehicle serviceability and conducts test drives to ensure quality repairs.
