Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians at our West Columbia, SC center. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels and perform related maintenance services.

Key tasks include measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and help vehicles travel straight and true; you may also conduct state inspections, oil changes, and tire repairs, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil/filters changes, flat repairs and other required services.
