Job summary

Schneider Electric in Lincoln, NE seeks an Automation Setup technician to install, maintain, and repair complex manufacturing equipment. You will perform machine set-up, adjust tooling, monitor SPC, and stock materials while adhering to 5S standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, plus the ability to pass assessments in reading/writing, math, and mechanical aptitude; good communication and data-entry skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a skills assessment test on reading and writing comprehension, math skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and perform data entry.
• Ability to work safely and communicate in English with team members.
• Read, write, and count to track inventory and production data.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and form parts, set dies, and adjust machines per specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, SPC control, and tooling changes as needed.
• Document adjustments and communicate information to the team.
• Maintain a clean 5S workplace and comply with safety regulations.
• Meet production schedules and support continuous operation of equipment.
