Qualifications

• Must have eye for surface prep and smoothing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and parts to determine preparation requirements.
• Wash, clean, and degrease surfaces prior to sanding.
• Sand and feather-edge panels to create smooth surfaces.
• Repair minor surface imperfections (chips, scratches, dents, rust spots).
• Mask and tape vehicles to protect non-painted areas.
• Mix and apply primers and sealers.
• Remove dust, debris, and contaminants before paint application.
• Maintain paint prep tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
