Job summary

Timken is hiring a Machine Operator to prepare, configure, and run auger component production. You will follow blueprints, set up equipment, verify materials, and perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor.
Willingness to learn blueprint reading and basic quality tools.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed instructions from work instructions, blueprints, route cards, and directions.
Set up and calibrate machinery and tooling for auger part production.
Verify materials, fixtures, and equipment are in place before starting operations.
Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshoot, and perform minor maintenance for safe operation.
Perform quality checks to ensure auger parts meet specifications before moving to next department.
Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety trainings.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support staff.
