Job summary

Qualifications

• Understand and carry out instructions with little supervision.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Self-motivation and ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
• Interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to set priorities and resolve daily routine conflicts.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must have valid certification to operate forklift and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, handle products, equipment and materials per instructions and quality procedures.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
• Position, align, and adjust work pieces to facilitate assembly.
• Secure test flanges and fittings and perform pressure testing per procedures.
• Safely operate automated test bay doors and equipment inside test bays.
• Follow management directions; move material, sweep floors, pressure wash bays, de-burr parts, clean areas.
• Inform management of developments impacting manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
• Follow verbal or written instructions from Assigned Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
