Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Assembly/Tester in Springfield, MO. You will assemble diverse product models per standard work and engineering documents, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following BOMs, using measurement tools, and supporting cross-training.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience, the ability to read precision tools, and PMP/PIV certification eligibility. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Read BOMs and engineering documents.
• Identify and solve problems.
• Pass certification for Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
• Read precision measurement tools (micrometer, depth gauge, etc.).
• 1–2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1–2 years’ assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly and verify parts.
• Follow BOM and engineering documents to pull correct components.
• Utilize measurement tools and correctly interpret readings.
• Document and communicate issues for quick resolutions.
• Cross-train in other areas and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use SAP for part location, scrap reporting, and BOM comparisons.
• Demonstrate safety, quality, and teamwork in daily tasks.
