Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking an assembler to read blueprints and assembly specifications, and to fabricate mechanical components on a production line in a manufacturing setting.

The role relies on careful interpretation of drawings, precise tool use, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant equipment assembly experience on emergency apparatus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of building emergency apparatus experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment.
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
