Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Assembler I for our manufacturing facility in the United States. The role involves assembling components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality while following safety procedures and operational standards.

You will interpret blueprints, use measuring tools, and verify that assemblies meet design specifications. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and participating in cross-training and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints and use precision measuring instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.
  • Maintain equipment and support 6S Lean workplace organization (housekeeping, safety).
  • Inspect own work for conformance to design and customer specs (visuals, packaging, function).
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to verify design specs and validate quality.
  • Follow written and verbal assembly instructions.
  • Control production materials in the work area and be accountable for rejects and scraps.
  • Participate in rotation and cross-training within the department for flexibility.
  • Contribute to autonomous maintenance, quick changes, and safety/quality improvements.
