Job summary

ManpowerGroup on behalf of a manufacturing client in Wichita, KS seeks an Assembly Worker II to support wiring, assembly, finishing, welding and testing of high-quality products. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in a structured production setting.

Candidates will read engineering specs, procedures, and drawings, perform assembly tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining organized inventory.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and OT as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
• Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, ensuring proper fitting, aligning, and adjusting for optimal functionality.
• Utilize miscellaneous assembly tools, electrical measuring and test equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and ensure inventory control while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
