Job summary

Vehicle Service Group, A Dover Company seeks a production assembler to set up and assemble parts into completed units. You will drill holes, deburr, and remove sharp edges using bench fixed or radial arm drills and sanding tools.

The role requires manual handling of parts and close adherence to blueprints for correct tolerances. Responsibilities include loading fixtures, checking unit quality, maintaining clean work areas, and recording outputs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly, 2x daily.
• Operate and set up drills, sanders, and deburring tools.
• Maintain workstation safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts into completed units.
• Drill holes and deburr parts; remove sharp edges.
• Secure drills and jigs, and install sanding belts.
• Check parts for proper alignment and quality.
• Record production on timecards and move tickets.
• Read work orders and follow standard procedures.
• Assist others and maintain machine and tool care.
