Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) in Madison, Indiana is seeking a Grade 3 Assembly technician for full-time onsite work. You will set up and assemble parts into completed units, drill holes with bench or radial arm drills, and deburr edges to ensure quality. The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds repeatedly and reading build sheets and blueprints.

You'll monitor tolerances, secure drills and jigs, and move parts safely through the workflow. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain tolerances.
• Experience with bench fixed or radial arm drill is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts into completed units.
• Drill holes in parts using bench fixed or radial arm drill.
• Deburr and remove sharp edges from parts.
• Unload/load drill fixtures and verify operation of units.
• Record parts produced on timecards and organize work area.
