Job summary

GREEN INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY INC is seeking an Assembly Technician for day shift in Dubuque, IA. You will assemble components, use hand and power tools, and calibrate parts to meet specifications. You will also inspect incoming components, document quality data, and assist with packaging and shipping as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification may be required; prior shipping/warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, working instructions, and blueprints.
Forklift certification may be required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts and units according to assembly prints and written instructions.
Use hand tools and small power tools to complete assemblies.
Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product specifications.
Inspect all incoming components for defects or damage; perform visual and manual inspection of completed sub‑assemblies.
Operate forklifts and other company vehicles after completing approved training and certification.
Train new employees through on-the-job training (OJT).
