Job summary

Westport Precision, LLC is hiring an Assembly / Clean Room Technician to assemble, clean, inspect, and package components in a controlled clean room environment. The role requires following detailed work instructions and collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality and Production teams to ensure products meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, clean room, medical device or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with small components and perform repetitive, precision-oriented tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic or written production records.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and finished products using hand tools and fixtures.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, routers, BOMs and production docs.
• Clean and prepare components according to procedures.
• Work in a controlled clean room and wear PPE.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness, workmanship, and conformance to specs.
• Perform basic measurements and inspections using gauges.
• Document production, inspection, cleaning and traceability accurately.
• Identify and report quality issues to supervisors or quality personnel.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work area.
• Package finished products per specifications.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production or quality issues.
