Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Precision Welding Solutions Division on 1st shift. You will work as part of a team to assemble products and meet daily production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma, about 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience, the ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams, and the stamina to stand up to 12 hours with lifts up to 50 lbs. Overtime is required.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
About 1 year assembly or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and understand circuit and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of bills of material and prints is preferred.
Cross training and basic computer skills expected.
Must stand up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
Overtime is required; good communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Balance the workload between target inventory and other demands.
Communicate effectively with team members to meet customer and business needs.
Check daily target inventory levels and open/close job orders.
Prioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Order materials and follow safety practices to improve quality and production culture.
