Job summary

Forbo Movement Systems in Huntersville, NC is seeking an assembler to join a fast-paced production team. You will interpret assembly instructions, set up and use hand and power tools, and perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards before leaving the line.

Responsibilities include following detailed blueprints, reading technical drawings, and collaborating with colleagues to hit daily output targets while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components according to detailed instructions and blueprints.
• Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons to complete assembly tasks.
• Use power equipment including drill presses and band saws safely and efficiently.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies in assembled products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on the production line.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
