Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires reading blueprints and maintaining tolerances as shown on prints.
• Must be able to read, write and compute effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts into complete units.
• Drill holes using bench fixed or radial arm drill.
• Deburr parts and remove sharp edges with belt sander or air grinder.
• Secure drills, jigs, and sanding belts as required.
• Position material, jigs, or fixtures for alignment and cycle completion.
• Verify operation of complete units and ensure quality.
• Unload/load drill fixtures and manage part movement.
• Read build sheets for special instructions before starting.
