Job summary

Wesco is hiring a Production Assembler in Gilberts, IL to assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate to meet tolerances and specs, and suggest improvements to productivity.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates have high school graduation or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
• Inspect and test work for quality.
• Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
• Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
• Stage job materials for production according to procedure.
