Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics, based in Bristol, Rhode Island, is seeking an Assembly & Bonding Technician (1st Shift). The role focuses on assembling, bonding, testing and screening parts with strict tolerances, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining quality documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, be proficient with blueprints and measurement tools, and demonstrate solid communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to understand and work from blueprints; experience with measuring tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with and manual dexterity related to using small hand tools for tight tolerances.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and understand production demands.
  • Comfortable with technical issues; use technical experience to solve problems.
  • Reliable; able to get along with others and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, bonding, testing and screening in conformance with parts specifications.
  • Use small hand tools as required by the job.
  • Follow work instructions for assemblies.
  • Work in an environment with odors related to plastics epoxies and resins.
  • Complete all paperwork neatly and thoroughly.
  • Inspect work to ensure conformance with blueprints using measuring equipment.
  • Pursue opportunities to develop new skills within the department and cross-functionally.
  • Assist Production in other jobs as requested.
  • Adhere to Tri-Mack Values: Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability and Durability.
  • Adhere to all AS9100 requirements as specified in work instructions and by your supervisor.
  • Complete all other duties assigned.
