Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Assembler in Ankeny, IA to cut and assemble window screen frames using computer-driven measuring devices. You will read instructions, verify specifications, and ensure quality at each step while preparing frames for the next stage.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand throughout the full shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Able to meet standardized production goals.

Responsibilities

• Read build instructions from computer monitor to verify length, type and color of materials.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors during the process.
• Verify size, color, configuration according to labeling system.
• Apply labels to frame upon completion and prepare for next step.
