Job summary

Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking a Precision Assembler for a manufacturing client. Responsibilities include preparing and performing assemblies per drawings, testing, and documenting results, and disassembly/cleaning during repairs. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and maintaining quality under tight schedules.

The candidate should have HS Diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years experience, and be willing to work overtime, including weekends, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of automation control and electrical components.
  • Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines or general machinery.
  • HS Diploma / GED or vocational training.
  • 0-2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions and work orders, with testing when required.
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of inspection equipment and ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Ensure parts are clean prior to assembly and follow assembly procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Operate precision tools (micrometers, vernier, CMM) in a warehouse setting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Write routine reports and communicate clearly with peers and supervisors.
