Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler Packer for the Amarillo, TX facility on a 1st shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). The role involves loading iron castings onto an automated line, packing finished parts, and performing quality checks. The hourly rate is $17.94.

You will build boxes and maintain a clean work area while following established procedures. Responsibilities include assembling components, reading operation sheets, and recording scrap data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to stand 8-12 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, team environment.
• Read and follow moderately technical standards and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load iron castings onto the automated paint line.
• Remove castings from the paint line and sort by part number.
• Read operation sheets and pack castings accordingly.
• Perform visual quality checks for processing defects.
• Assemble components and materials as required; use spray paint and screwdriver.
• Build and seal boxes for castings and components.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow 5-S.
• Enter scrap data and perform related clerical tasks.
