Job summary

Aerotek in Millington, MD is seeking an Assembler to join a manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components and subassemblies using hand and power tools, following detailed work instructions.

Shifts include 1st (7:30 am–3:30 pm) and 3rd (7:00 pm–5:30 am). Responsibilities include inspecting work for quality, maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping a clean, organized workspace while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly documentation.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Experience with HVAC, painting, electrical, testing, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components and systems.
• Use hand and power tools for precise assembly work.
• Install components using bolts, rivets, soldering, or micro-welding techniques.
• Clean parts and assemblies with approved methods and materials.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain production equipment and a clean work area.
